Job Summary:

We are seeking a forward-thinking Innovation and Strategy Manager to drive strategic initiatives and innovation across the organization. This role is responsible for identifying market trends, developing strategic plans, leading cross-functional innovation projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and creativity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term business strategies aligned with corporate goals.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct competitive intelligence, market trend analysis, and SWOT assessments to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
    • Innovation Leadership: Lead ideation sessions, pilot programs, and product or process innovation initiatives.
    • Project Management: Manage cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable results.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build strategic partnerships and promote innovative thinking.
    • Performance Monitoring: Develop KPI’s to track success of strategic and innovation projects, providing regular updates to leadership.
    • Change Management: Support organizational change by promoting new approaches, tools, and cultural shifts toward innovation.

 

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Innovation, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.

– 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management in financial Institution

– Proven experience leading innovation or transformation projects in a financial institution

– Strong analytical, communication, research and leadership skills.

– Proficiency in Strategy tools (e.g., SWOT, PESTLE, Porter’s Five Forces) and innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup).

 

 

Preferred Skills:

– Experience in a financial institution (Commercial banks, Finance Companies, Investment Banks)

– Familiarity with digital innovation tools and emerging technologies

– Strong financial modeling and business case development skills

– Strong leadership skills

– Strong Innovative and Research skills
